Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2020 /Kabar/. A plane of the Aeroflot – Russian Airlines on the Moscow – Bishkek route with 393 Kyrgyz citizens on board has arrived Sunday in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
This flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.
Women who are late in pregnancy and have young children, as well as citizens who have serious illnesses and previously left for the Russian Federation for surgical operations and other urgent medical procedures, valid reasons for return, associated with the death of close relatives were returned to the homeland.
Work on the return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, located abroad and willing to return to their homeland, continues.
