Tashkent, Apr. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. A woman with COVID-19 coronavirus infection died in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported today.
A resident of Angren, who had chronic diseases, was hospitalised on Apr. 19 in a critical condition at the regional infectious disease hospital and connected to ventilator.
Rapid analysis revealed a COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the patient.
The disease was severe, the woman remained connected to ventilator during the treatment.
Despite doctors' efforts, the patient died.
At present, 1778 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Uzbekistan, 598 people have recovered, 8 patients have died.
