Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. The team of the Alpha special forces of the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the international tactical exercises “SWAT challenge 2020” in Dubai with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Dubai and in the framework of close cooperation with the police of the Emirate of Dubai.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the exercises were held in Dubai under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Seif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Internal Affairs of the UAE.
During participation in the “SWAT challenge 2020” the teams demonstrated the level of combat and tactical training, as well as passed tests on the obstacle zones. Additionally, business contacts were established among participants from different countries and an exchange of experience took place. In addition, the organizers of the event organized an exhibition where new types of weapons, equipment, equipment and special equipment were demonstrated.
This year, the Kyrgyz Republic for the first time takes part in international competitions in the UAE among the elite special forces of the countries of the world.
