Bishkek, Apr. 14, 2020. /Kabar/. A Ministry of Health guard tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Kabar Agency has learnt from Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev.
According to him, the guard had been contacted with one of the employee of the Republican Headquarters, in whom case of coronavirus was previously detected, in this regard all staff of the Health Ministry have been examined.
"The guard's age is a medical confidentiality. He is currently under observation, receiving treatment. He worked at the ministry's main building. The rest of the staff were tested negative," Usenbayev said.
To date, Apr.14 11 new cases of COVID-19 were revealed in Kyrgyzstan, 430 in total.
Of those, 79 are cases of medical workers infection. 71 citizens have recovered and discharged from hospitals. Five have died.
