Another meeting of Headquarters for Preventing Spread of Coronavirus held

Bishkek, Feb. 15, 2020./Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova held another meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government's press service said.

During the meeting it was noted that as of Feb.15, 2020 there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in the republic.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health, State Border Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant services told about the work being done to implement a set of measures in the relevant areas.

Today, all checkpoints at the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic are working in a reinforced regime, the necessary preventive measures are being taken.

Temporary observation rooms with all necessary accessories have been set up.

Each visitor from countries with a poor epidemiological situation is subjected to thermometry and laboratory examination of samples from the upper respiratory tract.

For the duration of the examination, all persons are temporarily placed in the observation room until the results of the examination are available.

This work is carried out according to an algorithm for action, prepared by the Ministry of Health in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

The Foreign Ministry is continuing its awareness-raising and advisory work with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic residing in China in order to protect their rights and health.

Following the meeting, Deputy PM Omurbekova gave a number of instructions to the relevant state bodies.
