Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev took part in a city-wide cleanup day and traditional autumn tree planting on Saturday as part of the World Cleanup day 2021 and the national eco-initiative Birge - taza Qazaqstan. This was reported by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan.
As part of this event organized by the Akimat of Nur-Sultan, Dastan Dyushekeyev together with his Uzbek counterpart Saidikram Niyazhodjaev planted spruces.
The event was also attended by employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, representatives of state agencies of Kazakhstan, representatives of the diplomatic corps, employees of the capital and the district Akimats, volunteers and concerned citizens.
Akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov noted that 3 thousand trees were planted, including oaks, birches, spruces, pines, lindens, and others. There was conducted cleaning of parks and squares on the total area of about 3 million square meters. Over 450 tons of garbage were removed during the day of the municipal cleanup day alone.
