Ambassador Dzhekshenkulov meets with Kyrgyz citizens in Russia willing to return to homeland

Bishkek, May 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Alikbek Dzhekshenkulobv met with his compatriots who had come to the consular service to resolve the problem of return home.

During the meeting, the ambassador said disabled people, women and children will be the first to travel to their homeland on two flights, and then various options for returning the rest will be considered.

"This issue is being addressed. President (Sooronbay Jeenbekov) is concerned about the problem. We are negotiating, so does the President, we try to help. But now each nation thinks about its own interests. You all know that among the Sol-Iletsk returnees 55 have been tested positive for coronavirus, now they are afraid that the disease may spread, it is necessary to check everyone," Dzhekshenkulov said.

He noted now the Embassy is short of staff, some of them got sick when they delivered food to their compatriots.
