Ambassador Dzhusupov presents his credentials to Federal President of Austria

Bishkek, May 11 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Austria Bakyt Dzhusupov yesterday presented credentials to Federal President of Austria Alexander van der Bellen, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the solemn ceremony, the Federal President congratulated the Ambassador on taking office and wished success in the implementation of the mission aimed at strengthening interstate relations.

During the conversation, the sides touched upon the issues of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Austria. Dzhusupov assured his readiness to make every effort to enhance bilateral relations and noted the importance of highest level bilateral visits over the past few years.

Dzhusupov informed the Federal President about the internal political situation, the dynamics of economic cooperation, and also informed about the ongoing work on the draft long-term National Strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2040.

The Federal President greeted Kyrgyzstan's steps to build parliamentary democracy. He also stressed the importance of the previously signed Memorandum between the Austrian "Conrolbank" and the Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund for further promotion of economic cooperation between the countries.

The Austrian leader noted the positive dynamics in bilateral relations and the importance of enhancing cooperation in priority areas.
