Ambassador Mamytkanov meets with VP of Azerbaijani oil company

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2024 . / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov met with Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR Elshat Nassirov in Baku.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of energy supplies.

Maksat Mamytkanov told Elshat Nassirov about the hydropower potential of Kyrgyzstan and drew his interlocutor's attention to the possibility of Azerbaijani investments in the construction of hydropower facilities in the country.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together to develop bilateral ties between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan in the energy sector.
