Bishkek, May 6, 2022 . / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with citizens and students of the Kyrgyz Republic living in the city of Medina.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting, Maripov informed citizens about the measures taken by the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for the socio-economic development of the country, as well as state policy to support youth and education.
The citizens were also informed about the tasks set by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign agencies of the country to protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens abroad.
During the meeting, citizens and students received answers to their questions, including on educational documents.
Maripov expressed his readiness to assist in creating additional favorable conditions for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic studying and working in Saudi Arabia, and also called on them to actively participate in various events organized by the embassy.
The ambassador also met with Kyrgyz pilgrims and representatives of domestic companies involved in the organization of Umrah and Hajj, in order to familiarize themselves with problematic issues.
About 600 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic live on the territory of the KSA, of which more than 230 are students, including families. The main number of students study at the famous universities Umm al-Kuraa in Mecca, Islamic University in Medina, Malik and Imam universities in Riyadh.
