Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2024. / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev and Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (upper house of parliament) of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva discussed the state and prospects of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership, the press service of the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Tashkent reported.
During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on all key areas of bilateral strategic partnership, as well as further maintenance of a high level of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
The sides noted with satisfaction close interaction between the Jogorku Kenesh and the Oliy Majlis, both bilaterally and within the framework of multilateral inter-parliamentary organizations, including in the format of parliamentarians of the Central Asian countries, the report said.
The parties also discussed the schedule of upcoming joint foreign policy events at the parliamentary level.
