Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan takes part in opening of Days of Kyrgyz cinema in Tashkent
Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2021 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibragim Zhunusov took part in the opening of the Days of Kyrgyz Cinema, held at the Uzbek State Musical Theater named after Mukimi in Tashkent as part of the Pearl of the Silk Road Tashkent International Film Festival.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimzhon Mirzaev, Director of the Department of Cinematography under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Muktaly Bektenaliev, People's Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic Aiturgan Temirova, Nazira Mambetova, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Kerim Turapov, directors Artyk Aybek Suyundukov, Bakyt Mukul and others.
In his welcoming speech, Zhunusov noted the dynamic development of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations, including in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the field of cinema. I wished successful holding of the Days of Kyrgyz Cinema in Uzbekistan.
Then the screening of the film "Shambhala" by director Artyk Suyundukov took place.
It should be noted that the following films will be shown as part of the Days of Kyrgyz Cinema: Shambhala (directed by Artyk Suyundukov), Lake (directed by Emil Atageldiev), The Road to Eden (directed by Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Japar Uulu) , "Father's Will" (dir. Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Japar Uulu), "Song of the Tree" (dir. Aibek Daiyrbekov), "Barefoot Runner" (dir. Mirlan Abdykalykov), "Kurmanzhan Datka" (dir. Sadyk Sher-Niyaz).
