Bishkek, March 14, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Moldogaziev received copies of credentials of Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in the city of Oslo John Mikal Kvistad on Monday at a meeting in Bishkek.
Aibek Moldogaziev, emphasizing that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with the Kingdom of Norway, noted the interest in maintaining a permanent political dialogue between the two countries, including through regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The sides exchanged views on joint events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The issues of implementation of joint projects in the field of education, as well as ways to promote the strengthening of business ties between Kyrgyzstan and Norway were considered.
Issues of cooperation within the framework of multilateral organizations were discussed separately.
Particular attention is paid to the situation in Ukraine. In particular, it was noted that Kyrgyzstan proceeds from the fact that any conflict must be resolved exclusively by political and diplomatic means. All interested parties need to look for any opportunities to resolve the situation, including by creating new formats and mechanisms if the existing ones have stopped working.
The deputy minister of foreign affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic wished the ambassador of Norway success in his diplomatic activities, and also noted the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to provide all possible support in this mission.
