Bishkek, April 8, 2021. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in a conference in the field of tourism entitled "Luxury B2B MICE Event and Conference" in Istanbul on April 6-7, 2021, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
At the opening of the event, Omuraliev acted as the main speaker and in his speech he spoke about the state and development of tourism, as well as further prospects in the post-COVID period in Kyrgyzstan. He drew the attention of the event participants to the existing types of tourism in Kyrgyzstan and to the assessments of international experts, including recognition by world famous media and agencies, which in 2019, 2020 and 2021 included Kyrgyzstan in the top 10 countries for travel.
On the second day of the conference, speaking at a panel session, Omuraliev made a presentation on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan. In order to attract investments in the tourism sector of the country, the ambassador urged representatives of tour operators to organize trips to Kyrgyzstan, and business circles to invest in the tourism sector. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that for investment in Kyrgyzstan there is a great potential in the field of tourism and favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity, incl. liberal legal framework, investment protection, low taxes and costs for doing business, etc.
The conference and exhibition was attended by foreign tour operators from different countries, a large number of Turkish companies, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and mayors of Turkish tourist cities.
