Ambassador Omuraliyev meets with Kyrgyzstanis in Turkey

Bishkek, Jan.21, 2020. /Kabar/. As part of the visit to Turkey’s Karaman Province, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev met with Kyrgyz students and Kyrgyzstanis, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) Committee on Budget and Finance Emil Toktoshev and Governor of Chui Oblast Altynbek namazaliyev also took part in the meeting with Kyrgyz citizens.

The meeting participants discussed the issues of stay and training of Kyrgyz students in Karaman Province, as well as the protection of rights and interests of Kyrgyzstanis.

Kyrgyz students spoke about conditions of study and residence in Karaman, and asked for assistance on a number of issues, including grant study in Turkey, scholarships, dormitory and medical insurance.

Ambassador Omuraliyev said the Embassy attaches great importance to the protection of rights and interests of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, and will provide necessary assistance in solving their issues.

Concerning issues of scholarships, dormitory and medical insurance, the ambassador assured he would discuss these issues with Governor Meral, Mayor Kalaidzhy, and Karaman University Rector Mehmet Akgyul.

MP Toktoshev and Governor Namazaliyev provided information about their participation in the Second Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Development Forum in Karaman on Jan. 19-21 this year.

At the meeting with Rector Mehmet Akgyul, the sides agreed on the need to increase the number of students from Kyrgyzstan, assistance in providing them with dormitory and medical services on the basis of medical faculty, as well as to erect a monument to famous Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov at the University’s territory.
