Bishkek, Dec.21, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev met with the management and representatives of Anadolu Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) companies in Ankara, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
The Kyrgyz ambassador made a presentation on investment opportunities and climate in Kyrgyzstan, including the conditions for doing business (low taxes and costs of doing business), as well as foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic, the membership of the country in the Eurasian Economic Community and the status of GSP+ received from the European Union.
Omuraliyev also drew attention to priority sectors of the economy: agriculture, light industry, hydropower, mining, information technology and tourism.
There was an exchange of views on the timing of companies opening in the Kyrgyz Republic, conditions for the safety of investors and capital transfer, etc.
Turkish entrepreneurs obtained information on Kyrgyz investment projects, and watched videos about Kyrgyzstan.
Ambassador Omuraliyev and Chairman of the Board of Anadolu Organized Industrial Zone Hüseyin Kutsi Tuncay reached an agreement to organize after studying Kyrgyz investment projects a visit of a delegation of Anadolu OIZ businessmen to Kyrgyzstan to study the possibilities of opening new production sites.
