Bishkek, Nov.14, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Swiss Confederation Omar Sultanov met with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk.
The content of the High Commissioner's upcoming visit to Kyrgyzstan next year was discussed during the meeting, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
The sides also exchanged views on the current interaction between Kyrgyzstan and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Ambassador Sultanov outlined Kyrgyzstan's commitment to open dialog and interaction with UN treaty bodies and special procedures, which have a standing invitation to visit the country.
