Bishkek, July 10, 2024 /Kabar/. On July 9, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev took part in a scientific and practical conference on the topic “Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan: the synergy of a comprehensive strategic partnership.”
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event was organized by the International Institute of Central Asia together with the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This conference was organized in order to develop common approaches of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the most important issues of further development of cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international levels, as well as to analyze specific areas of joint interaction.
The event was attended by a delegation of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by director of the institute Sanzhar Mukanbetov, director of the International Institute of Central Asia Zhavlon Vakhabov, heads and experts of leading analytical centers and research institutes of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the Oliy Majlis and government bodies of Uzbekistan .
In his speech, Ambassador Jamanbaev expressed confidence that the results of the conference will contribute to the development of new promising initiatives and proposals for further interaction, which will make a significant contribution to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
As part of the event, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Institute of Central Asia.
