Bishkek, June 20, 2020 / Kabar /. On June 18, 2020, the meeting of Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, living in Gyeongsangnam-do province, was held in Chhannyeon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting they discussed the stay of Kyrgyz citizens in the Republic of Korea, labor migration, changes in migration rules in connection with the coronavirus, as well as flights between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea.
Ambassador Kemelova told the members of the Kyrgyz diaspora about the work of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea, including the protection of the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the results of a conference to discuss the problems of labor migrants working on the EPS system (Korean system for issuing work permits).
The ambassador called on citizens of Kyrgyzstan to register with the consulate and submit biometric data in anticipation of the upcoming parliamentary elections, and also asked the Kyrgyz to actively participate in presentations and promote the positive image of the Kyrgyz Republic among the people of the Republic of Korea.
A delegation of the Embassy visited the Dodamkhoby office and met with its director, Mr. Chu Sok Young, a candidate for honorary consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Busan, with whom they discussed issues of joint promotion of the export potential of Kyrgyzstan and the attraction of humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan to fight against coronavirus.
