Amends to agreement between Kyrgyz, Kazakh Gov'ts on procedure of citizens' stay considered

Bishkek, June 4, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, June 4 at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), deputies considered in the second reading a law "On ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan on the procedure for the stay of Kyrgyz citizens on the territory of Kazakhstan and Kazakh citizens on the territory of Kyrgyzstan dated May 11, 2012, signed July 12, 2019 in Bishkek".

The Protocol provides for amendments to this Agreement in terms of exclusion of birth certificates for children under the age of 16 years, with a certificate - insert (with photo) indicating citizenship of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan from the list of documents on the basis of which entry / exit is possible to the territory of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The draft law is submitted for voting in the second reading.
