Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2023. / Kabar/. The annual inflation rate in the Kyrgyz Republic is slowing down: in October 2023 (on the 20th day) inflation in annual terms amounted to 9.2%,official representative of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Aida Karabaeva told at Kabar Agency.
According to her data, since the beginning of the year the general price level in the country has increased by 6.7%.
“The food component of inflation shows a slowdown in price growth. However, prices for services and non-food products remain at the same levels, reflecting the influence of previously established and emerging inflation factors (including increases in administered prices and tariffs),” she added.
