Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2023 . / Kabar / . The annual inflation rate is smoothly declining. This is facilitated by the monetary policy measures conducted by the National Bank, Deputy Head of the Communication and International Cooperation Department of the National Bank Ilyichbek Sultankulov told a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He noted thatt as a result, in November 2023, the annual inflation rate amounted to 8.0%, declining from 14.7% at the beginning of 2023.
"The most noticeable slowdown in price growth is observed in the food group of goods. The increase in prices for this group of goods amounted to 3.9% in November 2023, while at the beginning of 2023 was 15.8%. This is also facilitated by a gradual decline in prices on world food markets," Sultankulov informed.
As for the prices for non-food group of goods and services, they remain at the same values, and their stable dynamics is explained by the impact of tariff policy measures and the observed increased domestic demand.
