Annual international environmental campaign “March of Parks-2019” kicks off in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Apr. 17, 2019 / Kabar /. An annual international environmental campaign “March of Parks-2019” has started in Kyrgyzstan.

This year the action will be held under the motto “Save the habitats of plants and animals.”

The goal of the international environmental campaign "March of Parks-2019" is to tell about the specially protected natural objects of the country and attract the attention of the public and young people to the preservation of the unique ecosystem and biodiversity of Kyrgyzstan.

The action will take place in all regions of the country. 10 state nature reserves, 12 state natural parks and the Directorate of the Issyk-Kul Biosphere Territory will take part in it.

Within the framework of the campaign, lectures for students and schoolchildren on the subject of “Preserving plants and animals habitats” are planned, informational booklets will be published, round tables, children's drawing contests, as well as sanitary and sanitary cleaning of household and other wastes and gardening of social facilities, educational institutions, boarding schools, nature reserves and parks will be held in all regions of Kyrgyzstan.

The annual international environmental campaign "March of Parks 2019" will be held throughout the country and will last until July.
