Annual tourism exhibition to be held in Cholpon-Ata in late May

Bishkek, Apr. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. The annual tourist exhibition will be held in Cholpon-Ata on May 18-19, Maksat Damir uulu, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism, Director of the Tourism Department, said this at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that this year it is planned to hold an exhibition at the end of May, since it was timed to coincide with the opening of the summer season.

“In addition, this year tour operators will come from all regions of the country and talk about the tourist potential of their city or region. We will give all them the pavilions,” he said.

Maksat Damir uulu added that in addition to this, the arrival of representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia is expected.

In turn, Daniyar Kazakov, General Director of the State Enterprise “Kyrgyz Tourism”, said that there is also interest from Turkey and some Arab countries.
