Bishkek, July 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan continues to evacuate its nationals from abroad due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, July 16 plane of Siberian Airlines on the Novosibirsk-Bishkek route with 205 Kyrgyz citizens on board, including young children has arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
This charter flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.
The list of passengers was compiled in order of priority for Kyrgyz citizens in need of return to their homeland, including pregnant women, women with young children, elderly people, persons who have undergone medical operations, Kyrgyz students studying at universities in the Siberian Federal District of Russia.
The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
