Another 222 patients recovered from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. As of Sept. 5, another 222 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered from COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Kyrgyzstan's total number of recoveries has climbed to 39 thousand 648.

The country reported on Saturday 89 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 44,316.

Currently, 577 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 4,097 patients are receiving treatment at home.

Also, no one death from COVID-19 was registered during the past 24 hours. The nationwide death toll stands at 1,061.
