Bishkek, May 20, 2020 / Kabar/. Another 3 employees of colony No. 27 in Bishkek had COVID-19, Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbaev told on Wednesday.
When asked whether it is true that two employees of the correctional colony had a coronavirus, he answered that the virus was detected in 4 employees.
“Today, three more employees have contracted the novel coronavirus. Studies have been conducted and as a result, an additional 3 employees have been confirmed. All of them undergo treatment. Their contact persons are established. The epidemiological investigation is continued,” the deputy minister said.
27 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan as of May 20, bringing the total to 1270 cases. 910 of them have been recovered, while 14 have passed away.
