Bishkek, July 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has received another batch of humanitarian aid from Russia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said Sunday.
Under agreements reached between Presidents Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Vladimir Putin, Russia has provided another batch of humanitarian aid, which was delivered to Bishkek on July 26, 2020 by a special board of the Russian Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief.
The humanitarian aid consists of medical equipment, medicines and personal protective equipment.
Earlier, the Russian side provided on a non-repayable basis: a large batch of PCR-tests and reagents for diagnosis of coronavirus infection, medical equipment (infrared thermometers, thermodetectors, etc.), PPE.
Also, Kyrgyzstan received gas masks, protective suits of various modifications, meteorological kits within the military technical assistance between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation for the amount of KGS 4.9 million.
Besides, Russia has sent a large group of doctors and medical workers to provide practical assistance to medical institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic and to conduct appropriate consultations on the treatment of coronovirus infection. The group of Russian specialists is distributed among medical institutions in the regions of the republic.
