Bishkek, June 2, 2020. /Kabar/. One more employee of Kyrgyzstan's Health Ministry has been tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the ministry said Tuesday.
Employee had been in contact with an infected relative.
"This case was revealed when employee was checked as a contact person. The analysis showed a positive result. The employee has been hospitalized," the report says.
Kyrgyzstan reported on Tuesday 28 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 1,845.
1,219 of them have recovered, 17 have died.
A total of 364 cases of novel coronavirus were registered among medical workers, 254 of them have already recovered.
