Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022 . / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for combating COVID-19.
The Kyrgyz Health Ministry informed about the current epidemiological situation in the country, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
Further, participants heard information about the rate of vaccination of citizens against coronavirus infection.
"Based on the data on COVID-19 detection and hospitalization, we can talk about the passage of the peak of the fourth wave," Deputy Health Minister Uluk-Bek Bekturganov noted.
In addition, the issue of the possibility of cancelling the PCR test for citizens arriving in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic was considered.
As a result, it was decided to study this issue in the near future in more detail, taking into account international practice and medical and sanitary rules.
The meeting participants discussed the supply and provision of oxygen stations to district health facilities.
In addition, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance were instructed to work out the issue of allocating budget loans for local plants-manufacturers of liquid oxygen.
