Bishkek, March 22, 2018 / Kabar /. 800 kg of boorsoks were cooked in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Nooruz celebration, thus breaking the national record, organizers reported.
10 teams prepared a national dish from early morning at the festival "Boorsok – national record!"
"We have reached our goal, we put 600 kg in special packages, which were given to the guests and participants of the event. The rest of boorsorks were delivered to the homes of the elderly and children's homes," the organizers wrote in social networks.
In addition, the guests were able to participate in sports and national games, taste sumolok and watch a concert of local stars.
For the record, the chefs needed half a ton of flour.
Boorsok is the national bread of Kyrgyz people.
On March 11 of this year, the Kyrgyz people set a world record, having prepared 1 464 kg of beshbarmak (national dish) and 117 meters of Chuchuk (national sausage) .
