Tashkent, Jan.24, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Jan.24 during the address the Uzbek Parliament, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to develop within three months relevant document on the establishment of a separate anti-corruption body, accountable to the Parliament and the President.
According to Mirziyoyev, the country's development is hindered by corruption in its various forms, and the fight against corruption is a matter for society as a whole.
"If we don't eradicate this vicious phenomenon, we won't be able to create a really favorable business and investment climate, no sphere of life in society will develop," he said.
"As long as all segments of the population, the best specialists are not involved in the fight against corruption, as long as our entire society is not, figuratively speaking, vaccinated with a honesty vaccine, we will not be able to achieve our goals. We must move from eliminating the consequences of corruption to preventing it early," Mirziyoyev said.
