Bishkek, July 8, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree establishing the Anti-Corruption Business Council under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, his press service said Thursday.
On June 23, 2021, the Kyrgyz president held a meeting with the business community, where entrepreneurs voiced a number of problems arising in their activities, as well as proposals to improve the business environment.
Having heard the proposals and problems of the business community, Sadyr Zhaparov noted that in the near future the Anti-Corruption Business Council under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will be established.
The main purpose of creating the Anti-Corruption Business Council is to improve the main directions of state policy in combating corruption, ensuring an effective dialogue between public authorities and civil society on anti-corruption, as well as creating favorable conditions for business development, improving the investment climate and mechanisms to protect and support the activities of business entities.
