Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2024. / Kabar/. Joint anti-terrorist exercises "Vostok-Antiterror-2024" will be held in September in the territories of seven Commonwealth states. This was announced during a meeting to prepare for the first stage of this exercise.
During this event, an exchange of experience took place on ensuring the security of critical infrastructure facilities and mass presence of people in the CIS member states. The features of carrying out measures to increase their anti-terrorist security were considered.
During the exercise, tasks will be worked out to identify and prevent terrorist acts, neutralize terrorist threats to border security, ensure counteraction to cyberterrorism and the financing of terrorist activities, the report said.
The event was attended by representatives of the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS Member States, the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the SCO, and the CIS ATC.
