Bishkek, Jan. 9, 2018 / Kabar /. A wonderful generation of boxers growing up in Kyrgyzstan, amous domestic sportswoman, world champion in martial arts and prize-winner of various championships Antonina Shevchenko told in an interview with Kabar News Agency.
During her interview, she summarized results of 2017 and shared her plans for this year. In particular, Shevchenko announced that 2017 was very rich for sport events. She won in all title fights and confirmed the rank of the absolute world champion.
As for the plans for 2018, Antonina Shevchenko is waiting for confirmation of the title bout, which, according to preliminary information will be held in March of this year in the US. The venue, as well as the opponent for the fight is still selected. The exact information will be known in February.
Antonina Shevchenko is full of strength and energy. In her own words, she is going to "get the most out of her sport career, which any sportsman has- short, but very bright."
She said: "The main thing is to avoid serious injuries, which can serve to prematurely end the active phase of sport career."
Shevchenko also told that a beautiful generation of boxers in different styles is growing up in Kyrgyzstan and especially pointed out the national team of Thai boxing (muay-tai).
