Approximately 350 convicts will be released in Kyrgyzstan soon

About 350 convicts will be released soon in Kyrgyzstan, head of the department for the execution of sentences and special registration of the State Service for Punishments Execution of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Termechikov told reporters during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that this will happen as part of humanization.

“Approximately 9 people will be released from the women's colony, minors will not leave, since they are all convicted of committing especially serious crimes. According to preliminary forecasts, about 350 people convicted of minor crimes will be freed from the colonies,” said Bakyt Termechikov.
