Apricot processing plant to be put into operation in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken

Bishkek, June 16 2022. / Kabar /. A processing plant for the preparation of dried apricots will be put into operation in Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

Businessman Tursunali Tolomushev said that it is planned to process more than 1,500 tons of apricots per year. The businessman plans to export the manufactured products to the USA, Japan and Russia.

“Today, the enterprise is 95 percent ready. This is a unique production, which is implemented in the oblast for the first time. The logistics center has a refrigerator, storage, washing machines and production lines. The project was implemented with the support of international donors,” he said.

In conclusion, Tolomushev added that when the enterprise is launched, more than 30 people will be provided with jobs.
