Armed forces of Kyrgyzstan receive another batch of humanitarian aid from China

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen handed over to the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic the 3rd batch of medical humanitarian aid, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The handover ceremony was held at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Kiresheyev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Defense Affairs Akylbek Ibraev, Ambassador Du Dewen and defense attaché of senior regiment Zhu Guozhong.

In accordance with the agreements reached earlier between the defense departments of Kyrgyzstan and China, personal protective equipment, PCR tests and medical equipment were handed over to the Kyrgyz side worth KGS 41 million.

The received humanitarian aid is planned to be directed to the organization and conduct of preventive measures in units, formations and institutions of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to the treatment of servicemen, their families and military pensioners in military medical institutions.
