Bishkek, Feb.22, 2020./Kabar/. Freestyle wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Arsalan Budajapov won a gold medal at the Asian Wrestling Championships in India.
This is Kyrgyzstan's first gold medal in this competition.
The domestic athlete competed in the 79kg weight category.
In the finals, Budajapov defeated Indian representative with a score of 7:5.
In total, the Kyrgyzstani had three bouts, the first two against wrestlers from Kazakhstan and Iran.
