As result of digitalization citizens have access to 191 public services in e-format, President

Bishkek, Feb.20, 2020. /Kabar/. As a result of digitalization, 191 public services and servicing in electronic format are currently available to our citizens, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the session of the Parliament.

The President noted the main goal is to create comfortable conditions and exclude the human factor in providing public services to citizens.

"Digitalization of public services for vulnerable segments of the population is continuing," he said.

As a result, excessive bureaucracy has been eliminated in the payment of benefits and it has been possible to save budget funds, spent on unaddressed social assistance payments," Jeenbekov said.

The Kyrgyz leader also stressed that digitalization is also penetrating into the health sector.

"This issue will soon be considered by the Security Council. Law enforcement agencies in all regions provide services to the population on the basis of the Unified Window principles. This principle will be introduced in all state bodies providing services to the population," Jeenbekov added.

According to the head of the state, digitalization is what the whole world is aspiring to.

"We have fallen far behind in this process, but nevertheless it will be implemented in all industries. Only in this way - by eliminating the human factor - we can reduce corruption. As you know, in order to speed up electronic governance, the Committee for Information Technologies and Communication was established in 2016. The Committee began to implement the Tunduk system in 2016 as a pilot project," the President said.

"In 2019, at the e-Governance Conference in Estonia, Kyrgyzstan from 130 countries was awarded for the successful implementation of the Tunduk system (electronic interaction system). This award is given to only one country annually. This fact shows that we are on the right track to implement digitalization," added Jeenbekov.

Today, Feb. 20, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov is attending the session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament).

At the Parliament session, new members of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic took the oath.

President Jeenbekov is expected to address the session of the Parliament, where he will focus on current issues of the country's development and strengthening harmony in society.
