Bishkek, Jan.4, 2018 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz National Volleyball team is preparing for Asian Championship - 2018, which will be held in April 14-25 in Dhaka (Bangladesh).
Currently, 7 teams have submitted applications for participation: Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, the Kyrgyz Volleyball Federation reported.
The General Secretary of the Federation Kylych Sarbagishev said that the teams are preparing thoroughly for the tournament.
"Bangladesh is trained by an Iranian specialist; Turkmenistan’s team trainer is Russian. Team of Nepal is under the leadership of the Dutch coach is being trained in Netherlands. Several players of Uzbekistan team are playing in the championship of Kazakhstan," Sarbagishev said.
Kyrgyz volleyball players in 2017 in the Maldives after winning the national team of Turkmenistan in the finals became the current champions of the Central zone.
