Yesterday the debut match for the team of the Kyrgyz Republic took place, they played against the Chinese team, in the framework of the final round of the Asian Cup 2019 in the United Arab Emirates. The match ended with the score of 2:1 in favor of China.
Krestinin said that the game was difficult, both for them and for the rivals, he also recalled the mistakes made. “They did not manage to realize what we had planned for the attack and made mistakes in defense. In understanding the reason for failure the entire team should be considered and not just one player. Let's not forget that even the greatest players have made mistakes. This is only the beginning of the tournament, the whole struggle is still ahead,” he noted.
In turn, the Chinese coach Marcello Lippi shared the opinion that in the first half his players could not play, but after the break they took the game in their hands.
“In the second half, they fixed the situation and were able to change the course of the match. I am roud of my players for the fact that we managed to do this and show what we are made out of at the right time. We were lucky with the first goal, it was our rival’s mistake. The substitutes played in the case of the second goal: we had to add more players in the center of the field, the rival beat us in the first half there,” he stressed.
Soon, on January 11, the Kyrgyz team is to play against football players from South Korea.
