Asian Futsal Championship in Turkmenistan to be held in August

Bishkek, Apr.4, 2020. /Kabar/. The date of the Asian Futsal Championship to be held in Turkmenistan has become known.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Football Union, the Asian Football Confederation's Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee proposed new dates for the 2020 Asian Championship and 2020 Club Asian Cup postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. The proposal was approved by the AFC Executive Committee.

Thus, the Asian Championship in Turkmenistan will be held on Aug. 5-16. The 2020 Club Asian Cup in UAE will take place on Dec.2-13.

The Asia Futsal Championship was to be held in Ashgabat from Febr.26 to March 8.

Opponents of Kyrgyzstan’s national team at the upcoming continental championship will be teams of Kuwait, Lebanon and Japan.
