Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2018. /Kabar/. A solemn award ceremony took place in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva solemnly presented public figure of Kyrgyzstan, TV presenter, President of ASSOL Foundation - Assol Moldokmatova with an honorary diploma for the Promotion of Chyngyz Aitmatov's Work in the World.
She said that Assol Moldokmatova for Baku residents is a personification of the new Kyrgyz intelligentsia and all women of Kyrgyzstan. “A young, progressive, intelligent, beautiful, active and graceful lady who managed to build over the years the cultural bridge of friendship and creativity between nations and countries. Assol made a huge contribution to the promotion of the work of great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, and this is a priceless contribution to high esteem in Azerbaijan, where the name of the writer has become widely known. Thanks to our joint efforts, the premiere of the play “Jamilya” was a great success, and the language of love and tolerance sounded again in a new way. We highly appreciate the work of Chyngyz Aitmatov, and celebrate the merit of Assol Moldokmatova. A number of events have been planned for the future, and we will try to implement our plans with a new zeal,” the President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation said.
Before the premiere of the play “Jamilya” at Dubai Hotel in Baku, the Government honored political, state, public figures for their contribution to the sphere of diplomacy, culture, politics, and art.
The medal for outstanding contribution to culture was awarded to public figure of Kyrgyzstan Assol Moldokmatova. Intellectuals of Azerbaijan and Turkey were present in the hall.
