Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2022. /Kabar/. The VI Summit of the member states of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is held in Astana.
The event began with a welcoming ceremony and joint photography, which was attended by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and the leaders of the CICA member states.
In his speech, the head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan encourages efforts to expand regional cooperation, which will contribute to inter-civilizational dialogue and strengthen mutual understanding between the countries of the Asian region.
In addition, today Astana will host a trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Russia Vladimir Putin and Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
Tomorrow, on October 14, a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Central Asia + Russia Summit will be held.
