Bishkek, June 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Asymptomatic COVID-19 patients will be observed in home isolation. The Republican Operational Headquarters took such a decision, the press service of the government said.
Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Sabirzhan Abdikarimov explained that, the corresponding changes in the work algorithms have been developed for unloading the health system.
Thus, in case of detection of the disease and the asymptomatic course of the disease, a person can be left in home isolation. When clinical manifestations of a person appear, they are hospitalized for treatment. At the same time, mobile teams will conduct a study of the living conditions of the patient in order to exclude possible risks of infection of others.
Such measures will reduce the burden on medical institutions and, most importantly, on medical workers.
Deputy Head of the Republican Headquarters, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Kenenbaev emphasized the need to introduce new algorithms in the activities of the healthcare system.
During the headquarters meeting, the recommendations of the Ministry of Health on changing the schedule of large markets and the introduction of controllers in public transport were discussed. In addition, it was instructed to tighten control over the ban on smoking hookah in public catering facilities. Cafes and restaurants for repeated violations of the prohibitions of holding mass events will be closed for 1 month.
The republican headquarters calls on compatriots to comply with basic sanitary rules in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
