Atambayev to be awarded the highest degree of distinction

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2017. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Zheenbekov, signed the Decree on awarding Atambayev Almazbek Sharshenovich the highest degree of distinction "Kyrgyz Republikasynyn Baatyry"( The Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic), the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.

Atambayev received the award for his exceptional work, for outstanding contribution in strengthening independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, for the unity of the people, peace and harmony in the country, creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic and demonstrating political will and courage.

Sooronbai Zheenbekov announced during his inauguration that he would award Atambayev this highest award.
