Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2017. /Kabar/. "I am against early parliamentary elections, I would like everything to be on schedule," Almazbek Atambayev said at his final press conference in the post of President of Kyrgyzstan.

"Of course, I criticize the parliament, because all these six years there have been a strong impediment to development by the parliament. For example, the issue of building a railway. We could take a loan and build. And in the parliament there are deputies who are against taking credit and building roads," Atambayev said.

The head of state stressed that he is against early parliamentary elections. "I would like everything to be on time. But, apparently, in the future we need to elect the parliament for 4 years, maybe the president for 5 years. Because the people get tired," he said.

Atambaev assured that after his presidency he does not intend to interfere in the personnel policy of the country. But I'm sure that the country will need in his contacts.

"I have good personal and friendly relations with many presidents. And I am sure that the country will need in my contacts. After leaving the post, I intend to go abroad and sleep, rest,” he said.
