Bishkek, March 3 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received today, on 3 March the country's Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Raimberdi Duishenbiev, the president's press service reports.
During the meeting the Head of State was informed about the work on further development of the country's Armed Forces. In particular, Raimberdi Duishenbiev reported on measures taken to implement the tasks set by the President in terms of the creation of military organization, that meet the modern requirements, enhancing the combat and operational readiness of units, improvement of technical equipment and social security of servicemen.
President Almazbek Atambayev and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Raimberdi Duyshenbiev also discussed future plans for the development of military-technical cooperation of Kyrgyzstan with foreign partners in order to continue work on a comprehensive capacity-building of the armed forces.
