Atambayev and Patrushev discuss military cooperation and fight against terrorism

BISHKEK, August 23, 17 / Kabar /. President Almazbek Atambayev today received visiting Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev.

During the meeting, the issues of further development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the field of military-technical cooperation, key aspects of cooperation in the fight against terrorism and extremism were discussed.

Atambayev and Patrushev also discussed topical issues of ensuring regional and international security.

Patrushev arrived in the country to participate in consultations between the competent state bodies of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Temir Dzhumakadirov also participated in the meeting, the presidential press service reported.
